Baby Shower!

The ladies from church gave Sarah such a nice baby shower on Saturday at Mrs. Brenda E.’s home.  Sara M. did a wonderful devotional for the shower – here are the precious Scripture verses she had the ladies “shower” Sarah with, as well as a few pictures from the day.  Thank you, Mom, for the beautiful flowers, thank you to the Eatmons for the CUTE duck cake, and THANK YOU so much, EVERYONE!!!!

Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

Psalm 103:17 “But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear HIM, and HIS righteousness to children’s children.”

Psalm 3:3 “But YOU, O LORD, are a shield for me, my glory and the ONE who lifts up my head.”

II Corinthians 12:9 “MY grace is sufficient for you, for MY strength is made perfect in weakness.  Therefore most gladly I will rather boast of my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Colossians 3:23 “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the LORD and not unto men.”

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

I Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Colossians 4:2″ Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.”

Matthew 19:13-15 “The little children were brought to HIM that HE might put HIS hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But JESUS said, ‘Let the little children come to ME, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’”

Psalm 127:3-4 “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD… Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.”

Deuteronomy 6:5-7 “You shall love the LORD your GOD will all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.  You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise  up.”
