What a week! On Monday, Sarah and her mom went to Discovery Place in Charlotte to see the Dead Sea Scrolls. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We have been reflecting on how marvelous of a Sustainer our God is. He sustains us daily, He sustains all the “fragile” ecosystems that cohabit on the earth today, He has perfectly preserved His Word for us – He even sustained some very old pieces of it in Qumran so that many could see His sustaining and preserving power.
Monday evening, we were with precious friends in NC for dinner – what a blessing to fellowship with friends so dear. It’s fun to reminisce, and the chili was fantastic! Thank you!![]()
Then yesterday, before an extensive planning meeting at church, it was finally time to plant the beginning of our spring garden!! Fun! The spinach and sugar snap peas are in the ground, and a fence is up to guard against the rabbity friends who appear to now live in our backyard.
Come over this summer for a veggie supper, okay?
